Hilltop RV Park and Campground:

Texas RV Parks are among the most popular parks in the country. Summer time temperatures are in the mid to upper 90's, and in the evening it dips to a comfortable 70 degrees. The Hilltop RV Park and Campground is a great park, in a very scenic location.

At this park, we found it to always have something to offer. It is located close to the Lake Houston State Park area, Sheldon Lake State Park, and Smith Gully. All of these surrounding areas are beautiful in the summer. This area is also close to the W. Scott Frost Reservoir #1 - which is a great place to fish. Many nearby towns, such as Baytown, enjoy spending time at this park; so you may meet many locals when visiting.

Who else can help you find things to do than locals. This part is well kept and the staff is very welcoming. In addition, if you like to golf, make a tee time at the Eagle Pointe Golf Club. this course is great, very scenic, and the prices are reasonable.

The Hilltop RV Park in Texas also has a great primative area for tenting and pop-up campers. This park offer amenities such as fishing and swimming, full hook-ups, clean facilities (shower and laundry), and great weather. One word of caution though, when visting during the rainy season (May), the park gets very wet and the campsites do not drain that well, so be ready for some mud. August is the most popular time for visiting this RV Park since it is the driest month in Texas.
